Our history

Digitech Development is a company created by DIGITECH in 2017 to address the international market with its own solutions and expertise in Digital Transformation for Public and Private Administrations.

Based on experiences initiated in France, several opportunities in Africa and in the Pacific regions have been conveyed by DIGITECH between 2000 and 2016, such as:

2014 – 2016

In 2016, DIGITECH took the decision to create a dedicated organization to address the international market with adapted Commercial, Product and Innovation policies and a team of experts.

2017

  • Digitech Development is created as a sister company of Digitech
  • Implementation of electronic CRVS for Fa’a Municipality in French Polynesia

 

2018

  • Technical support to the process of reforming the civil registry and vital statistics registration system for DRC with fundings from AfDB and the World Bank
  • Support program for civil registry for the Ministry of the Interior and the National Directorate of Civil Registry of Mali
  • Organization of birth catch-up campaigns in primary and pre-primary schools in DRC delivering 2.4 million birth certificates in partnership with Europe, UNFPA and the World Bank

 

2020

  • Digitech Development acquired Be-Bound, a startup that developed a technology supporting registration processes with minimal connectivity and a strong mission statement: ”people are members of a human community of connections, simply looking to grow and progress”.
  • Implementation pilot of a physical and digital archiving plan for civil registry documents in Mali
  • Creation of the National Register of Natural Persons system for ONECI in Ivory Coast

 

2021

  • Modernization of the National Civil Registry System in Tunisia
  • Niger Civil Registry Digitalization in partnership with UNICEF
